Workforce Issues and the Treatment of Alcohol Problems: A Survey of Managers of Alcohol and Drug Treatment Agencies This report presents findings from a survey of managers of Alcohol and Other Drug (AOD)specialist treatment agencies. It provides an initial analysis of the alcohol workforce, AOD services, AOD problems and workforce development issues. The primary focus of the study was to examine the provision of specialist alcohol services,and associated workforce development issues. All specialist agencies were surveyed. Hence, most findings relate to the AOD specialist sector overall.
