Welcome to the website for the NSW Summit on Alcohol Abuse 2003.

From 26 - 29 August 2003, the NSW Government hosted the NSW Summit on Alcohol Abuse 2003 at Parliament House in Sydney, Australia. This site was developed to provide the latest information on the  Summit. It also provided an opportunity to gather community views to assist discussion and deliberation at the Summit. The Summit concluded on Friday 29 August 2003 and the Communique sets out the recommendations made by the Summit.

Government Response 

The Outcomes of the NSW Summit on Alcohol Abuse: Changing the Culture of Alcohol Use in NSW set out the NSW Government’s approach to dealing with alcohol abuse.

It is a response to the Summit Communique and is a plan for the next four years.
